Les Dames D'Escoffier Portland (LDEP) works to contribute to the vitality of the region in three primary ways.

1. Provide women in the community (non-members) with scholarships and mentorship to
help them succeed in food, beverage and hospitality careers.
2. Provide educational programs for members and community.
3. Support community projects and organizations that align with our guiding principles.

Basic participation requirements are:
● A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food, beverage or hospitality fields.
● A commitment to 4 or more LDEI volunteer hours in the calendar year.
● Attendance at a minimum of 1 event or board meeting in the calendar year.

● Annual membership dues.
