As a vice president at LANE, a Finn Partners Company, Kristin Heilman-Long has led strategic public relations programs for a broad range of clients in the consumer-lifestyle, food and beverage, and travel and tourism industries, including Moonstruck Chocolates, Steaz, Uinta Brewing, Widmer Brothers Brewing, Sokol Blosser Winery, Sexy Hair, Travel Oregon, The Heathman Hotel, The International Olive Council, Riverhouse on the Deschutes and many more.
Kristin thrives on the opportunity to collaborate and think creatively with clients and colleagues, as well as continuously learn about the nuances of her clients’ organizations and industries. Prior to joining Finn Partners, Kristin worked as an account executive at Tallahassee-based Sachs Media Group, one of the top 100 independent PR firms in the nation. Her work at Sachs Media Group consisted of regional and national media relations and strategic campaign development that resulted in consistent top-tier media placements.
As a fourth-generation restaurateur of award-winning, family-owned restaurants, Kristin has strong roots in the hospitality industry. Her family owns and operates two fine-dining restaurants in Florida, Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber, which has been in business more than 70 years, and Bobby’s Bistro and Wine Bar. They also own a small boutique winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley called FoxyRock Vineyards.
Kristin graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications with a Bachelor of Science in advertising. She also holds a Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Award in wines and spirits.
