Brenna Davis is the CEO of Organically Grown Company, one of the nation’s largest independent organic produce distribution companies and the first business in the country to be owned by a perpetual purpose trust. Prior to this, she served as VP of Social & Environmental Responsibility and Communications, where she led the team responsible for developing some of the most rigorous product ingredient standards in grocery, as well as advocating for a strong national organic program. At Virginia Mason Health System, she led the effort for the organization to become the first Marine Stewardship Council certified hospital in the world.
Over her career, Brenna has partnered with innovative companies across diverse industries to help them improve their triple bottom line, grow brand loyalty, and have a lighter footprint in the natural world. As a leader in environmental and social responsibility, she has contributed to state, national and global environmental initiatives, including at the Obama White House and on a Climate Reality Project panel facilitated by Vice President Al Gore. Her work has been featured on NBC, CBS, FOX news affiliates, including on live morning television, as well as in numerous media outlets and blogs. She is a #1 International Best-Selling Author and writer, most recently featured in She's a Boss: Inspiring Stories from Female Leaders Around the World.
Brenna lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and two rescue dogs in an old house whose landscape is Backyard Habitat Certified through the Columbia Land Trust. She loves good food and live music, and is learning the electric guitar.
